Reusable Face Mask BioSmart™ Technology
The 4 oz Reusable Face Mask BioSmart™ Technology is a patented, bleach-activated technology that provides an added layer of active defense against microbial exposure and contamination such as bacteria and viruses.
This Milliken™ BioSmart™ technology integrates protection into fabrics used for medical garments and products which in this case is for protective fabric face masks.
The patented, bleach-activated technology harnesses the proven power of EPA-registered chlorine bleach, turning otherwise passive textiles into an added layer of active defense against microbial exposure and contamination.
The face masks are a 2-ply 4 oz – 65% polyester, 35% cotton with BioSmart™ Anti-Microbial Technology which covers from the nose down well below the chin providing a firm seal. The flat elastic ear loops are very comfortable along with the Aluminum nose bridge strip for shaping and conforming mask for better fit and eliminating fogging of glasses.
To activate the BioSmart™ technology in the face masks the masks must be washed with an EPA-approved chlorine bleach before initial use and the BioSmart™ technology is proven to be durable through a minimum of 75 industrial or home washes.
