Oil and Gas Industry Technology Solutions
Technology is now a major part of the oil and gas industry. Several days ago, a hackathon event was held in Ghana to develop a software to help provide solutions for issues related to the oil and gas industry, particularly those that are health and environmental related.
The two-day event was organized by Penplusbytes. There is a dearth of software solutions for the industry in Ghana, and events like the hackathon help developers, organizations, and other stakeholders become more interested and involved in coming up with software and other technology solutions to support of the industry.
Because the event is only held over two days, the initial target was to develop a software that helped citizens gain knowledge about the industry. To help the developers focus their efforts toward creating a specific solution, the stakeholders discussed specific challenges that the developers could address.
