Flame Resistant Parkas create a strong outer layer that keeps you and your clothes protected against heat and flame source such as flash fire. They’re made with the same soft cotton fabric and tough construction as all those other jackets that are purchased for the winter season.
As flame resistant parkas are made to self extinguish and put the flames out you would not even know the difference in the comfort and feel of the parkas until of course the protection is required in an emergency situation.

There are many different designs although this article is concerned with the 3 In 1 Parka. The 3 In 1 Parka consists of the protective outer shell, inner fleece jacket liner (which can also be used alone if desired) and the choice of either the insulated hood that attaches to the Parka outer shell or the fleece hood that attaches to the fleece jacket/liner.
The additional benefit of the fleece liner is that it can be worn alone as it also has safety striping attached to it for this reason.
