Leather protector gloves are provided to be worn over rubber insulating gloves to help provide the abrasive protection needed against cuts, abrasions and punctures to the more expensive rubber voltage gloves.
Even though the use of the leather protectors makes it more cumbersome to work with the benefit of preserving the service life of the more expensive rubber insulated voltage gloves is well worth it.
