Preparing For A Natural Disaster

A natural disaster can happen at any time with a warning like a storm or flood and other disasters like earthquakes or tsunamis could give no warning.
When an emergency situation happens are you prepared? Are you really prepared?

You need to be able to be self-sufficient for a minimum of 3 days and nights and preferably longer. This involves having the basic supplies such as food, water and shelter. Relying on help to come any sooner then 3 days may not be likely especially when there are power outages and communication.

Having a survival kit could make the difference between coming out of a situation like this alive or not. This includes food and water and shelter to keep you warm and protected from the elements. What better way then to have all your survival gear contained in a nice compact 72 hour survival kit that is strategically kept in a place that is close to your predetermined escape route.

An example of what I am referring to is the following 4 person survival kit.

This 4 person survival gear assembly will keep 4 people in good supply of the basics of life for 3 days or 2 people for 6 days.
