How To Get Oil To Those In Demand
Now that oil and gas production has grown leaps and bounds in the Western Hemisphere, the issue that needs to be addressed is how to bring the oil to the Eastern Hemisphere where there is a growing demand for it.
This is according to the recent discussions at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. There are many obstacles concerning the transportation of North American oil and gas to end users.
Government policy is just one area of concern but it is a very important one. Pipeline construction is another issue that affects the industry and it is an area of concern also affected by government policy.
Transporting the oil through rail is possible but that also brings forth its own set of challenges. In the end, for the US, the government and the private firms need to make difficult decisions and come up with solutions to ensure that the continued success of the industry.
